On January 15, 2026, the Google Cloud Export Summit was held at the Beijing International Hotel. Han Sheng, Founder of Quvideo and FireflyFusion, delivered a keynote titled "Driving a Content Era Where Everyone Can Be an AI Creator", sharing insights on how AI is transforming short drama production. 1 - 副本.jpg

Han reviewed QuVideo's 14-year journey. From its beginnings in the mobile internet era to navigating the generative AI wave, the company has remained focused on video creation. Its offerings have expanded from ToC creative software to the ToB FireflyFusion, providing AI video solutions for smart hardware manufacturers, cross-border e-commerce platforms, and the short drama industry.

Focusing on the short drama sector, Han noted that next-generation video models, especially advances in video generation quality, are driving a shift from "tool-assisted production" to "AI-native creation," fundamentally changing content production. He shared three key observations:

  • AI as a creative engine: AI has moved from post-production support to playing a central role in character design, storyboarding, and other core creative tasks.

  • Film-aligned AI workflows: Models like Google Veo enable shot-level generation, supporting long-sequence storytelling and allowing complete series production in shorter cycles.

  • Content remains king: As AI enhances efficiency, the emotional and narrative quality of content becomes increasingly important. "Technology should stay behind the scenes; culture and emotion remain at the forefront," Han emphasized.

Han also discussed AI's impact on industry economics. Low-cost, fast-distribution production allows creators to iterate rapidly based on audience feedback, while global content success increasingly depends on local cultural resonance rather than repetitive themes.

Looking ahead, FireflyFusion aims to empower more creators, even solo studios, by turning imagination into content with minimal barriers. This reflects QuVideo's collaboration with Google Cloud: in an AI-native content era, creative power belongs to every individual with the desire to express themselves. 2 - 副本.jpg

During the summit, QuVdieo's AI-native music product Rythmix also showcased its AI music creation function. Rythmix simplifies music creation, allowing users worldwide to transform inspiration into melodies without professional music theory. Its lightweight, intuitive experience has enabled it to rank on music charts across dozens of countries and regions.

The exhibition highlighted two key features: AI Song Generation and AI Music Video Generation. Users can generate a full song from a text description or photo, select language and style, and even synchronize visuals with the music through advanced rhythm analysis and lip-sync technologies, which opens new possibilities for creative expression. 3 - 副本.jpg

From short dramas to music, QuVideo is empowering global creators with smarter, more accessible solutions. Moving forward, the company will continue expanding AI capabilities, helping every imaginative individual find their voice in this era.
